Association of Small Business Development Centers

The Association of Small Business Development Centers (ASBDC),  founded in 1979,  is an all-inclusive small business assistance program throughout the United States and its territories.

The network works directly with entrepreneurs, helping them realize dreams of owning a business and staying competitive in the market by providing free business counseling and low-cost training.

Small Business Development Centers are hosted by leading universities, colleges, and state economic development organizations. They are funded, in part, by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The Northeast-East Central Colorado SBDC is hosted by the Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado and works closely with the Colorado Small Business Development Center.

Testimonial

After meeting with the SBDC I have built a solid business plan, applied for a 504 SBA loan and been approved by three different banks. I have no doubt that this would not have been possible without the diligent work, time, contacts and knowledge the SBDC poured into my business.
